Several other measures in the Forestry Programme linked to the Native Woodland Conservation Scheme are also referenced during the training: ● Climate Resilient Reforestation ● Emergent Woodland ● Native Forest Establishment ● Native Tree Area Scheme ● Woodland Improvement Thinning ● Neighbourwood (Amenity) Scheme These combined with the NWC scheme may be useful funding mechanisms towards achieving the challenging EU Nature Restoration Law woodland targets
