Use of Spatial Optimiser and Remsoft integrator
This training was delivered in Ireland by a Remsoft trainer and covered the Use of Spatial Optimiser a heuristic approach to finding a preferred harvest spatial solution, this is very relevant in Forestry as harvest plans must reflect regulatory and certification constrains. The second day was on Integrator “Remsoft Integrator is a scripting language add-on to the Woodstock Modeling System that can facilitate model development and maintenance through access to standardized data tables which are used to develop some (or all) of a Woodstock model section” This again is relevant to Forestry as accessing and interchanging data to modelling systems is a very efficient way work.
